Old MySQL Server?

Hi all,

I recently checked my MySQL version. It is an version of 3 years ago. Version 5.0.12a. So i did run an "yum update" on my server. It updated a lot of packages but not MySQL.
I'm still on the old MySQL. How can i upgrade the MySQL server when it is running under DirectAdmin?

I hope someone can help me!

Change the version in options.conf in usr/local/directadmin/custombuild then run update

./build clean
./build mysql

But why should you upgrade? There is almost no point in it. Just my opinion
