One question about Permission

1. on my server have 2 hardisks (A and B). and i install the DirectAdmin SYS on hardisk A.

2. i created a website that 's www.aaaa.com for aaaa user. so this user User can via FTP visit /home/aaaa folder and do everything .

3.The hardisk B i have load that on hardisk A look like is /home/hardiskB.

4. Right now , i have created a folder xxxx on hardisk B.

so if possiable give User aaaa Permission to control this folder xxxx ? if know that , pls tell me how to do! thank advance!

Other, i have created a symbolic link to www.aaaa.com/xxxx , but user aaaa also no Permission to control this folder xxxx !

so i dunno if be able to do something to access paths outside of the chrooted directory

FTP isn't going to allow you to get out of chroot. That's the whole purpose of the chroot.

already fix , i load the second disk under the aaaa user, anyway , thanks
