Hi,

Currently I'm using DirectAdmin 1.63.8 (build 1487dffa0a55c1685feb2ca851996f48c2faa6d5)
OS : AlmaLinux 8.5
Webserver : NGINX-Apache
PHP :
> 8.1
> 7.4.28
> 7.3

Two main problem I'm having is :

1. Open BaseDir
Whenever I change the PHP Setting Open BaseDir configuration of a website.
All subdomains records are deleted and reset (either I enable and Disable)

This is so frustrating since all the subdomain records are missing and I have to recreate all the configuration for each subdomain from scratch (including Softaculous configuration btw).

Is this a normal or is this a bug?

2. File Manager

Whenever I tried to extract files (zip or tar.gz), it took longer than usual (on previous version, it was instant), now it seems take much longer.
If I extract the file using command line, it is instant.

Is this normal?

Regards,
Your Buddy!

Hi,

Glad someone responded this topic.

I was changing this as Admin using this menu :

Server manager >> PHP Configuration >> select the domain >> change setting for Defaults for new domains
[Safe Mode]
[Open BaseDir]

Save!

And the next thing is all subdomain belong to the domain I selected before are deleted.

What might the issue?

Oh, it is an old bug.

I hope it will be fixed ASAP as this is causing problems for my clients.
