We have installed OSCommerce via Installatron but I don't know how to start editing the pages in the web shop. When I click on 'admin' in Installatron it doesn't allow me to access it with my user name and password. I have tried 'PhpMyAdmin' and 'MySQL' in the menu but there is no option for the admin section. What I am doing wrong and how to get started?

Once OSCommerce is installed Intallatron has nothing to do with it. You'll have to follow the instructions supplied by OSCommerce. Their official website can be found here.
