This is the first time I've posted a message in a forum so please forgive my amateur style and hopefully I don't offend the more experienced users.
Outlook has not allowed me to setup my wife's account so that she can receive messages. Everything seems to work fine, however no message are being sent.
Error message in setup after testing account settings reads:
Specified account was found, but there was no response from the server. Please verify that the port and SSL info...... You get the point and know the rest of the message.
So I went to a command prompt typed in a code that I found on another thread that basically said to type: telnet your_mail_server_name 25
Could not open connection to host, on port 25: connection failed
So what are other port settings that I can try? And do I make those changes under the advanced tabs under more settings in Outlook?
