Own server IP getting blacklisted?

I'm getting a lof of alerts that my own server IP is getting blacklisted, it's own IP! Why is this and what's causing this? Thanks.

And where does your server IP get blacklisted? Where do you get alerts from?

I get messages like this one:

The ip '111.222.333.444' has been added to the /usr/local/directadmin/data/admin/ip_blacklist file for having too many repeated failed login attempts into the 'admin' account.

111.222.333.444 is the server IP. And I'm getting then as a Support Ticket inside DA.

See log lines for your IP then. It should help you to understand what is going on on your server.
