Hello,
The following errors have started appearing in logwatch:
vm-pop3d[29863]: PAM unable to dlopen(/lib/security/pam_pwdb.so)
vm-pop3d[29863]: PAM [error: /lib/security/pam_pwdb.so: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory]
vm-pop3d[29863]: PAM adding faulty module: /lib/security/pam_pwdb.so
This is a CentOS 5.0 server.
I've discussed this with a server admin and they have said this is due to a corrupted PAM module and the only fix is an OS reload...This seems abit drastic to me.
Could anyone clarify if this is indeed appears to be the case?
