I have searched the forums for a couple of days now, and tried a few different suggestions, but I cannot get Passive FTP to work on a fresh reinstall of our box/DA.
I've tried the lines like the ones below in the proftpd.conf:
PassivePorts 32555 32565
PassivePorts 60000 61000
PassivePorts 49152 65534
Along with the ports open in the firewall, like the one below for the first line above:
ACCEPT tcp -- anywhere anywhere multiport dports 32555,32565
Both the firewall and proftpd have been restarted after each attempt, to no avail. I have read all of the other threads, and am at a loss. I'm not that familiar with passive ftp in the first place, other than i know my ftp client likes it, lol, so any help or suggestions would be appreciated.
