On our FreeBSD 9.2-RELEASE servers when we create a new user the password is always incorrect. We have to reset the password in order for it to work, both on reseller level when creating a new user, and on admin level when creating a new admin or reseller.
Setting the password to the exact same string suddenly makes it work. Or right after creating a new user scrolling to the bottom to send a new password does work.
Logging in via ftp however does work at all times.
