Password linking ftp & email

Since there is no way that I have seen for a ftp user to set/change their own password (unlike email), would it be possible to have a feature to link email and ftp passwords? Or at least have a password change option for ftp users similar to what email users are allowed?

In most cases, a user likely wants the same password for both, so I think a linking option would be ideal.

If there is a way for an ftp user to change there own password that I am unaware of, please inform me otherwise.

For the main account user email and ftp password are the same, and they're also the same as the control panel user for the site.

If you're writing about created email and/or ftp accounts for each user, they can't be linked because the accounts themselves are totally independent of each other.

I am aware they are independant of each other, however, the whole point of a control panel is to bring the ability to control things with ease.

At the very least, I feel there should be an option for a ftp user to change their own password without intervention from the control panel user, like the email users are able to do.

I would like to see this added to DA as well, so that FTP users can change their password just like email users can. Maybe a command CMD_CHANGE_FTP_PASSWORD or something. Thanks.
