PHP 7.2.4 and Sodium

I have installed PHP 7.2.4 but Sodium is not loaded. I tried to compile it with option '--with-libsodium' but without success. PHP will give this error after this option:
PHP Warning: PHP Startup: Unable to load dynamic library 'libsodium' (tried: /usr/local/php72/lib/php/extensions/no-debug-non-zts-20170718/libsodium

Can some one help me with this?

Did you add the extension to your php.ini file?

There is no need to add it to the extentions because it is part of the PHP core since version 7.2
