I'm interested in running php 7.4 on a 9 release.
I know it's not officially supported but apparently it's possible according to this article:
https://idroot.us/install-php-7-4-centos-stream-9/
My question is, if I install it that way, how would it work with directadmin - meaning normally directadmin handles the php install - so if I install 7.4 outside of directadmin, will it still work? And can you use the php version selector in directadmin or that wouldn't work?
Also, if I install 7.4 manually, can directadmin still install version 8 separately?
I read some other threads that said there is a guide on this forum somewhere but I couldn't find it, so any tips would be appreciated.
