PHP GD + FreeType

Hey...

i am trying to get PHP + GD / freetype to work... but it's not really working

the error i get is:

Fatal error: Call to undefined function: imagettftext() in verify.php on line 9

yum list freetype gives me:

Installed Packages
freetype.i386 2.1.9-2 installed

and GD also workes....

already restarted httpd.. but maybe have to recompile it??... if so how do i do that?
