php-scripts in filemanager

When you open .html, .jpg, ... files in the filemanager you see the normal page, picture. But when you try to open a php page he does not show the interpreted page. Is this normal, if yes can it be solved?

Click the edit link rather than the file name.

Be careful though i just had a file go blank after hitting save. I have not been able to do any testing to see if it was isolated strangeness or something else. In other words back it up first.

My server doesnt interperate php pages either. More then likely its normal. You will have to wait for other posts to see if there is a possible work around.
