Hi.
Im having some troubles with the Version Selector for PHP.
I've installed PHP 4 and PHP5 in my CentOS 5 Final, running Directadmin 1.33.2.
The thing is that is if PHP is Disabled for a user, the link "PHP Version Selector" is still shown in the menu, and when the user changes the version of PHP, this action enables PHP to be used, but still shows as disabled in the user details.

Is that a BUG? Where can i report it? Is there a solution for this?

Bye!

Which doesn't answer how he actually did it. Once I know that I'll know where to look for the problem.

Oh I thought you were suprised he installed both not what method did he use :P

Hi!
The person that install PHP4/5 and DirectAdmin tell me that he use the tutorials from this forum (he doesnt remember the exact tutorials he had use, but he always use this forum for new installations).
Any recomendation of what can i look for in my server to found out the problem?

Thanks in advance.
Bye!

So in other words you may not be using custombuild.

Please post the output of the following command:
Code:
$ ls -ald /usr/local/dirctadmin/custom*
Do NOT type the $; it's there to tell you that you don't have to be root.

Also, on what screen (and using which skin) do you see the link PHP Version Selector?

Jeff

$ ls -ald /usr/local/directadmin/custom*

drwxr-xr-x 4 root root 4096 Feb 5 14:50 /usr/local/directadmin/customapache
drwxr-xr-x 3 root root 4096 Apr 1 11:23 /usr/local/directadmin/custombuild
-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 85211 Apr 1 00:29 /usr/local/directadmin/custombuild.tar.gz

I dont really understand the second question. The skin im using is this: (see image please)

It's likely that your PHP installation was made through custombuild. Perhaps you should post your question in one of the custombuild-related threads.

I still don't see in your attached image any reference to the PHP Version Selector.

Jeff

Jeff, on the bottom on right side is a text link "PHP Version Selector" the text is lighter in color.
I'm interested if this actually works, I do have some requests for PHP5

These are the 2 screens of the PHP Version Selector:
One is for a normal user and the other for the Admin user.
(Notice that i cant change from the admin PHP Selector which PHP i want for that user, cause i will change the default PHP that all the domains are using).

Bye!

I want to install this, have to go find the thread and read.. :D

I'm lost. Is this a plugin? Or does it automatically show up if you have multiple versions? I guess I've been so busy lately I haven't kept up :(.

Help me learn :D.

Jeff
