php5 / mysqli 4.1 supported?

Does anybody know if php5 and mysqli 4.1+ is supported? has anybody tried it?

mysqli is a PHP extension, MySQL 4.1 is the version. MySQL 4.1 is supported, but I'm not sure about PHP5.
