Edit: Ah, you don't mean DirectAdmin, but a bug in phpMyAdmin itself? Have you posted a bug report about it?

Thank you for the information. I guess you are running php-fpm? I have not seen the problem on my installs, but I am using mod_php (with mod_ruid2), and I guess this bug is not present in that setup. Lucky me.

Yep, it did not happen on mod_php. It could be a problem with the PHP-FPM config, but the bug has not been closed, so it must mean something isn't quite right in PMA.
