Piping to another email account?

Here is my situation:

Client has an email account (physical/pop3 email account) on the server. He wants all email sent to this email account delivered, but also forwarded on to another email address as well.

How exactly would I implement a solution for this problem?

Just set up a forwarder in DA's control panel from the main email address to the desired email address

Setting up a forwarder delivers mail to the address specified by the forwarder and not to the original email address... at least that was the behaviour up to version 1.25.0 of DA.

Although not exactly what you want, it is possible to forward a single address to several other addresses, just put a comma in between the forward-to addresses

e.g.

[email protected] -> [email protected], [email protected], [email protected]

For email addresses who are NOT system users DA should be forwarding and delivering. Is it not?

I'll retest with the new version of DA but in previous versions it did not forward and deliver mail. You had to make a choice and frequently I would set up a different email address andthen use forwarders to forward to 2 email addresses.

Strange - last time I added a forwarder the same user an a pop3 it worked fine.

Unsure what version of DA.
