Hey guys,

I'm having a weird problem with one of my domains on our DA box. When any user on the domain attempts to send an outbound message using Mac mail, it prompts for the password again.

These are the error messages in the rejectlog (IPs/hosts removed):
2006-12-22 12:26:45 plain authenticator failed for userip.comcast.net ([10.112.10.24]) [x.x.x.x]: 535 Incorrect authentication data ([email protected])

This only seems to happen with Mail.app. Outlook and Thunderbird seem to be able to send fine.

Anyone have any ideas?

Thanks!

No, and we have a lot of clients who use the mac mail application.

Do your users have plain-text authorization on?

Do they have "require authentication" on?

Note that I don't have an answer; I'm simply giving you some suggestions to consider.

Jeff
