Please Help: Site is loading slowly, What should be done?

We are new user of DirectAdmin. Previously our voluntary project HomeSatkhira Community was in Shared Host and now we are in VPS with 512MB Ram. The site is loading slowly but average 4/5 users use the site at a time. what processes should be stopped to increase the memory? DA send us the following message twice.

Another question: I found the php.ini file within DA administrative panel but now I could not find. Where can be found the php.ini filr for editing. I want to know the location of DA window, not in SSH.

It may have nothing at all to do with DirectAdmin. It is most likely a result of of the VPS. It may be overloaded, that load of 11.xx should point you to part of the problem. The other issue could be due to the way the VPS is configured.

I had a VPS for a short period of time that behaved that way. My usage was very low, but when when I saw high loads (I assume generated by other VPS nodes), anything that required disk I/O slowed to a crawl. I worked with them a few times to try and fix the problem, but they insisted it was working fine. I had an 'ls' command take 30 seconds to return.

Lol was it at burst.net... I had that same issue there and then gave up with thier bs and got a dedicated server instead.
