please help

my hoster just did a full installation/upgrade from the old version to the newest version of directadmin (v1.23.0)
They did not let me know therefore I did not backup any mysql database. Is there any chance that this data still in the server somwehere? Is there a chance that i can find out...can someone please show me ...hic hic

1.23 is not the newest. Its not even close. There have been like 10 updates since then. See: http://www.directadmin.com/versions.php?action=allversions

Anyway. Have the root user (your admin) search for all sql's in his backup files. It would be something.sql . usually your username is the something. But have him look for *.sql. If he reformatted and he doesn't have it, then your pretty much lost. But who knows. Just upgrading directadmin does not cause loss of data. I don't know why he would delete everything before an upgrade, that sounds crazy.
