Plugin Comodo WAF on AlmaLinux 8.8 Perl symbol lookup error

We recently upgraded 2 servers from CentOS 7 to AlmaLinux 8.8 and since then on both servers the Comodo WAF 2.24.5 plugin is giving an error "/usr/bin/perl: symbol lookup error: /usr/local/lib64/perl5/auto/Template/Stash/XS/XS.so: undefined symbol: Perl_xs_apiversion_bootcheck" when navigating the DirectAdmin Admin UI -> Comodo WAF 2.24.5:



Installed Perl version is v5.26.3, the latest from AlmaLinux 8.
On CentOS 7 the Perl version was v5.16.3.

It seems the XS.so is from perl module Template::Stash::XS, when trying to update the module, we get

# cpanm Template::Stash::XS
Template::Stash::XS is up to date. (undef)

Any idea how to fix this?

Have you tried removing the Comodo plugin and installing it again?
Because now it's probably looking for old files.
