pop account not working

hello

if I just create a POP account on directadmin and use the user/pass showed on the screen after the creation to login and it doesn't work... what can it be?

when I try to login, i get "user OK" and "Bad login" after password


one hint: the domain is not hosted on my server, but I'm connecting to the POP server using my IP... does it change something?

There are a lot of variables in play here.

Are you using the complete email address as the user login?

Are you sure you're connecting to the right server?
