Port 587 issues

So I create "Listen *:587" and magically in thunderbird my e-mail settings work. BUT it also takes down HTTPD... I've already done that daemon_smtp_ports = 25 : 587 and it doesn't work. Ideas?

Most likely your ISP is blocking 3rd party smtp on port 25 and I doubt that enabling smtp on port 587 is taking down httpd. Could be that it was just coincidence.

Where did you enter Listen #:587?
