Possibility to specify backup directory OR template filename

Well, first of all, do you think daily backups are enough?

I was thinking about doing daily and weekly backups, but then when I want to add that to my crontab, one will overwrite the other.

Is it possible to let us choose the destionation directory instead of the default value /home/reseller/user_backups? I guess it can be done with a workaround, like ftping to localhost, but that sounds.... ugly, LOL.

Only you can decide at what frequency you want backups yourself, and for your clients.

If you're backing up only to the same server I think daily is more than enough; you're not really protecting against anything, since if the server fails the backups will fail as well.

You can run a cron job separately from the backup system to rename (mv) your backup directory to something else and crate a new backup directory. So you could have backups as often as you want until you run out of space.
