Current log files:
/var/log/httpd/domains/domain.tld.*
(I use a monthly rotation and a lot of data would be lost.)

Awstats configuration:
/etc/awstats/awstats.domain.tld.conf

This would be helpful in moving a user from one server to another.

Thanks for your consideration.

And conversely, if it was standard, a lot of data might be backed up that would never be needed.

I'd want this only if I could set it on a per user or per domain basis.

It seems like current httpd log files would be important to back up.

And the awstats configuration files are hardly large files.

Hello,

The awstats isn't really a DirectAdmin specific file, it belongs to the plugin that created it, so we probably wouldn't add that.

As for apache logs, I can look into it..
Would restoring the log be desired as well?
If it were only backed up, and not restored, that would be easy enough.
Restoring an old log over a new one may not be logical and may mess up the webalizer stats.

It would be "off" by default, most likely a serverwide setting.

Let me know what you think.

I see what you mean about overwriting existing files during a restore.

In the case that prompted my request it would have been helpful to restore the log files, because I was transferring accounts to a new server by backing them up on the old server and then restoring them on the new one.

Maybe the restore could create the httpd log files if they don't exist but leave existing logs alone.
