I m currently using cpanel/whm and reading about directadmin in odrer to see if it fits to what i need from a webhosting panel.

One of the most used fetaures for me is "Restore Backups" as used in cpanel/whm.
I want to have dierctadmin auto backup all my users and whenever i have a problem i just select the restore option(Daily, Weekly or monthly) and wait for the panel to finish backup restore procedure.

Is this available?

Yes, the backup and restore features work well in DA.

Take a look here: http://www.directadmin.com:2222/

Once logged in, look under Admin Tools for "Admin Backup/Transfer" and you can get a look at all the options.

Thank you for replying.
Please correct me if i m wrong but this option lets you take manually a backup first and then restore it at a later time.
I also see a cron job setup, have you ever used it?
I just want to take backups, one every day/week/month, store on my dedi(but not inside my clients path) and restore them whenever i want to.
Is that possible?

ps: i just thought i could create 3 cronjobs for all of the accounts, first cron job will be daily backup, second one will be weekly back up and third one will be monthly backup up and store them on my dedi account path in different directories like /daily_bc /weekly-bc monthly_bc
Is this applicable?

Manually OR via cron.

Yes, we use it on all of our DA servers.

Yes, you can do this if you wish.
