PROBLEM CREATE SUBDOMAIN

Hello,
I accidentally deleted the vhost.tvpost.ro subdomain and when i try to create it again it won't let me
I get the error: Sub-domain is forbidden

any other name I put works ,

How exactly did you delete it?
Can you check your /home/<accountname>/domains directory if it's still in there?

I deleted it from here

in the /home/admin/domains/ it's not , I also searched in /var/named/ , /etc/virtual/ , nothing

Try running

cd /usr/local/directadmin/custombuild
./build update
./build rewrite_confs

Maybe it is still hanging out in the configs.

I an assuming you want to recovery it manually?

Is your server host name vhost?

what is output of

hostnamectl

You cant create a subdomain named your host name.

you may want to reboot the server as well.

but you can try to make the subdomain

as vhost like you wanted.

You also have to change the hostname in directadmin to vh.tvpost.ro and change the rdns/PTR record to the new hostname.
Because everything is pointing to vhost.tvpost.ro at this moment and vh.tvpost.ro does not resolve yet.
You might need to create a seperate dns zone entry for it.

Yep, but you need to adjust the rDNS/PTR record still... the ip is still pointing to vhost instead of vh.
