Check your httpd.conf file, and includes, including the proper user specific exim.conf file, to see where the hostu.org domain is looking for the Certificate.

Make sure the proper key and Certificate files are installed where apache expects them to be for your domain, and restart apache.

Note that depending on where you bought your Certificate, it may require what we call a CA Root Certificate. If so you may have to decide where to install it yourself and create the proper line in the proper config file, so apache will know where to find it.

ssl problems resolved ?

thanks jeff for the reply, i decided to have the cert reissued for secure.hostu.org and all is fine,,, maybe something abt using www or ??

sill have programs reg. for domain hostu or www.hostu but won't work with secure.hostu beacause of license breech,,,, i guess i be better off with a little more flexible software :p

thanks again

We sell Certificates that would work for both www.hostu.com org and hostu.org (without the www.[/] prefix). Most will only work with one or the other.

But the only way to get a Certificate which would work with secure.hostu.org and the other two would be bo buy a Certificate that offers multiple extra domain names or to buy separate Certificates. The Certificates that offer multiple extra domain names are significantly more expensive (you can ask me for a quote) but if you buy multiple Certificates they must work on different IP#/port combinations.
