problem on log maintaining

Problem is simple.Logs like exim,Proftpd, Htxs, Etc. is working on one of my DA Panel, but some time it stop working on another Panel.Proftpd and exim are available but htxs is not available.
SO how can I solve this issue or check weather all ar working fine or not.
Give suggesions.

Pardon for my spelling mistake... is is htaccess
I have many linux vps running with direct admin panels.
Eg. VPS 1 .. Direct Admin ... All logs are maintaining except HTACCESS..
Eg. VPS 2 .. Direct Admin .... All logs are maintaining except EXIM
But on another VPS ... No such problem found.
Hope I clear about it now...

OK, maybe anybody else could understand, what you're talking about, but not me, sorry...
Of course, you might want to clarify your posts, as I don't get what does .htaccess have common with exim and logging?
