Problem putting website online

Hello,

A month ago I posted this ticket: 000004215 l Problem putting website online but I haven't gotten a reaction to this so I'm trying it trough this way.

I am having trouble putting my website online, I have a Zip file with my complete website in it (index.html/css/img/js) but I don't know where to place it / extract it (I thought in the root folder but this doesn't work)

Can somebody tell me what to do (step by step)
I am very beginner level
