Problem sending mails from website i.e. registration mail.

Hi.

I have a VPS server up and running with Directadmin. I add a new user. Create some emails. And start sending mails through mail clients and all works fine.

I have now noticed that when i have an installation of an SMF forum or Joomla site set up and when new users register and they shall get an email with email and password. This dont work so good anymore.

Say that i have created a new user with the domain imtesting.com i get this in return.

SMTP error from remote mail server after MAIL FROM:<[email protected]> SIZE=3299:
    host mail.telia.com [nn.nn.nnn.nnn]: 553 <[email protected]> unable to verify address

how come the mail get the xxxxxx.xxxxxxxx.com (this is the name of my server) and not the imtesting.com domain name?

Arrrrghhhh..

So after a couple of Days struggeling with this i got it.. i Think..and hope.

It was my Configserver Firewall..

I had to change SMTP_ALLOWLOCAL=1
