Problem with 404 error

Hi guys

Recently i have had a problem with 404 error.

some files can't be shown in browser and when I open them I see 404 error. although I can access them by ftp but I can't open them with url.

How could I solve this problem?

404 means the files do not exist. Ask your hosting provider for help.

actually there are files in same directory.
I'm hosting provider.

for example I can access files by the address bellow
http://IP:2222/CMD_FILE_MANAGER/domains/domain.com/public_html/icons/pic.jpg
but I can access them by this address
http://domain.com/icons/pic.jpg

I believe that /icons is a protected apache alias and you cannot use that folder name.
