Problem with deleting directory

Dear forum members,

Recently I get started with this awesome program DirectAdmin! I have a problem with deleting a directory in the File Manager. I get the following notice:

Unable to delete directory /domains/1905online.nl/public_html/administrator/components/com_smartsef: The directory /domains/1905online.nl/public_html/administrator/components/com_smartsef is not empty

How can I solve this problem?

If you cant delete via FTP, could be a permission problem

Do you have ssh access? If so paste the output of

% ls -al domains/1905online.nl/public_html/administrator/components/com_smartsef

When I try to enter the command you suggested, I get the following reply:

einstein:~# % Is -al domains/1905online.nl/public_html/administrator/components/com_smartsef
-bash: fg: %: no such job
einstein:~#

What did I wrong?

Indeed, it might be a permission problem, due to the fact that I even can't delete the files by FTP.
Perhaps you have a solution for this issue?
