Problem with Farsi Language

Hello,
When I receive emails in English all seems to be fine. But when I receive something in Farsi or Hindi I get something along the lines of-

سلام خدمت
شمو

any help or guidance in this regard would be much appreciated.

Actually it works in this forum/thread but when i receive the same thing in my email its a string of characters like-

&#2345$#2345 .....

Whatever program you're using to receive your email isn't properly decoding it. That may be because it's not properly encoded by the sender, or because your local program doesn't properly decode it.

How are you reading your email? In what program.

Perhaps someone on these forums who is successfully reading emails in Farsi will be able to help you once you reply.
