problem with FTP

when i want to create user account, my DirectAdmin print this:

Unix User created successfully

User's System Quotas set
User's data directory created successfully
Domains directory created successfully
Domains directory created successfully in user's home


[b]Unable to read the system ftp passwd file to add the user to it.[/b]

i have proftpd installed in the sytem

rpm -q proftpd
proftpd-1.3.0a-3.fc5

how can i fix this problem ?

ok. problem solved, just i haven`t /etc/proftpd.passwd file
