problem with ipb Email

i have some problem about email
i install ipb 3.2.2 and it work well and send all of email
but one day i run this code

/usr/local/directadmin/scripts/set_permissions.sh all

and when i returned to my home page it say sql error
so i should change my sql directory chmod to 777
and when i want to change chmod to 755 it say
sql error so i should keep chmod on 777
after that ipb system can not send any email
so i reinstall ipb but again ipb can not send any email
like register email
please help me
what can i do?

I would suggest to use mod_ruid2 for skip permission problem and increase security.

but when i change mysql chmod to 755
it say again can not access to sql

i still dont get how sql (that i suppose is mysql) is linked with emails...

Are all file with correct owner?

For mail problem you need to check /var/log/exim/ files for understand why isnt working..

i used google mail (gmail)
and now again i use ( gmail )

when a user register in my site
site say " an email send to your email please check it"
but there is no email from my site (gmail)

and i think if we rebuild direct admin all of option return to default
is there any code or way to do that??

No, just formatting would be the best way... but is the last option...

Check gmail spam directory or if in the gmail email you got any error...

And damn try it with your local mail so you can be sure that can check logs and also that you dont get your server banned from gmail if someone overload your board.
