Hello, all.
I have a question (sorry if in wrong subforum).
So I'm have an account in some hosting company, and my main domain looks like accname.hostname.com. Now I add a domain indicator to accname.hostname.com. My site working now on my domain indicator and its working good.
But I want to have a mail which will looks like [email protected], not like [email protected].

What should I do to have it like I want?

Greets,
Marek.

If it's a webhosting account you have, you should contact that hosting company.
Your domainname should be domainname.com and not accname.domainname.com.
Unless the hosting company is only selling subdomains. And in that case you won't be able to aquire the [email protected] because it's theirs.

But if you own domainname.com you should contact your hoster and tell them to get their things in order.

Ok, I understand, but I have a domain and hosting in different company's and yes hosting company only offers a subdomains.

So when I add a new, completely different domain (also from other company) - not indicator - to my hosting account its working well with emails accounts.

So maybe solution is to delete my domain indicator from my account subdomain, and change name of my account subdomain to domain which was previously added as indicator?
But I do not know if it will be working like so far (i have a working forum on this domain)
I hope you understand what I mean :)

Greets,
Marek.

What do you mean under word indicator? Directadmin by default does not use such a term: domains can be added as pointer or as alias additionally to function «Add Another Domain».

Anyway, if your domain is added either as pointer or as alias you can use email box on both domains at least on receiving emails. And on sending via webmail. Not sure about offline mail clients.

That's odd.
If that's the case, personally I would change host to a normal host which offers normal webhosting accounts, not only subdomains.

For the rest I can only agree with zEitEr's answer.

Sorry, It looks like I used a wrong word, Because I have a DA in Polish language so after translate came out to me that Indicator is a right word ;)
