problem with my domain...

OK guys. I bought a .com domain and a hosting.

I redirected the domain to my hosting address with the following settings:
type of redirect: temporary (302)
title
masking: yes

Everything went fine, eg. when I went to .com I could login to DirectAdmin.

But I installed the forums, and now, when I enter .com, I get this message:

Forbidden
You don't have permission to access / on this server.
Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

When I go to .com/phpBB3/ (where the forums are installed), I get this:
Not Found
The requested URL /phpBB3/ was not found on this server.

What's wrong?

Permission denied means you have no index.html index.htm or index.php page.

Linux/Unix is case sensitive so make sure that you are entering the url correctly.

It is probably http://yourdomain.com/phpbb3 no upper case letters.

ok, i uninstalled everything. let's try it from the beginning. what domain's settings should I use?

type of redirect: temporary or permanent?
title or Record A?
masking: tick or not?

That all depends on what you want to do and how your hosting is set up. You haven't given us any information asked for so it's not possible to help you.

I think the problem is from the .htaccess file
go to file manager and inter your forum folder then delete or rename the .htaccess file .. it'll work again

then do the redirect again
