Problem with restoring backup

Hi,

i was using Cpanel previously and just started using direct admin. I created a backup with my cpanel and now when I tried using both the reseller and user accounts to restore the backup (from both the user/backup directory and the /backups directory) but both failed.

For the reseller one I had the following error message:

"Unable to extract the directory 'backup' from the file /home/ikercas/user_backups/ikercas.tar.gz

Unable to read the backed up user.usage file"

I wonder if it could be due to incompatibility issue between the Cpanel and Direct admin?

Yes it's an imcompatibility. Search these forums; you may be able to find a conversion system.
