Hi
i have a runnig VPS with Centos 6 /32Bit and DA , there are 4 Domains on it with running pages, for a while all went fine
then i found my RAM is growing up continuously and after some hours i have to restart my VPS.
I have 1 GIG RAM ...

to prevent some errors on the filesystem i did a repair permission command:

cd /usr/local/directadmin/scripts
./set_permissions.sh all

after this mysql was not working and i had to reboot the VPS. so now i am bit scared that i did some wrong on my VPS now cause some Folders in WP where changed to 755 and upload did not work.

My question is this command save on a running system or not and do i have to reset some permissions by hand on my VPS ...i really don't won't to reinstall the OS

kindly

Maurix

You should either run PHP as CGI, or use mod_ruid2 in order to have no issues with permissions. You should search the forums for more details, as there HowTos and instructions on how to use any of them, as well as here: http://help.directadmin.com/
