Hello All,

All the mail from our server to @hotmail accounts is queued by hotmail, here is a little peace of my log:

2007-03-23 19:11:11 1HUoEJ-0000cR-Mb <= [email protected] U=apache P=local S=672 T="Aanmeld link" from <[email protected]> for [email protected]
2007-03-23 19:11:12 1HUoEJ-0000cR-Mb => [email protected] F=<[email protected]> R=lookuphost T=remote_smtp S=697 H=mx2.hotmail.com [65.54.244.168] C="250 <[email protected]> Queued mail for delivery"
2007-03-23 19:11:12 1HUoEJ-0000cR-Mb Completed

Ok, the mail is queued by the hotmail server. But why? Is this something in DA what i don't have correct configurred?

Please help me!

Regards Alex

Many large email vendors get so much email that they can't deliver it in realtime, but instead queue it, and then queue-runners from another server can deliver it from the queue.

If your mail isn't getting delivered to hotmail users that's another issue; it could mean that for some reason hotmail doesn't like you. One reason could be that your users are using catchall forwarders to send their mail on to their hotmail account, and then when they read their email there, they tell hotmail it's spam.
