Hi there, I hope you can help me on this:
I made my own theme (for UebiMiau) and put the files of that theme on my server (hosted by a company that uses DA). I tried to use the /webmail/tmp/ folder for emailstorage (serverwide folder), used in the config.php. Sadly I don't get access to that folder: permission denied or folder does not exist. The folder does exist, so that's not the problem.
Because I could not use the serverwide email tmp-folder, I made my own. Everything is working fine, but the problem is as follows:
when somebody sends an email message and saves the sent file on his webmail, it get saved on my own /tmp/. That's why it uses a lot of my serverspace, just because I can't use the serverwide /tmp/-folder.
I emailed the server administrator and asked him if he could change the chmod so I could use the serverwide /tmp/ to store the sent messages as well. He does not want to change anything about the chmod of that folder, because he thinks its too insecure.
Does anybody know what I can do to actually get access to the serverwide folder where all emailmessages are stored?
Thank you in advance for your response.
Joost
