Hello,
I just formated my server and reinstalled directadmin. I am having many problems and not really sure where to begin, but ill try to give as much info as I can.

Currently I have (1) admin account (with a domain) (1) reseller account (with a domain) and (13) user accounts (with domains, under that reseller account).

The admin account has a different IP then the other accounts, the other accounts have a shared IP.

None of the sites are working properly. Some people will see the apache page and others will see the real page of the site.

Some of the accounts I have had to manually set the IP address in the DNS page, because there is no drop down menu for the shared IP, it is only showing 1 IP twice. When I try to make an IP a shared IP, nothing happends, it just refreshes the page.

I guess I will start off with just this and MAYBE a techie can help me!

Thanks!

Setting the DNS manually to something different than what's in the dropdown box will definitely break your ability to serve webpages.

Why?

Because apache expects to find the site at the IP# in the dropdown, and you're viewers aren't looking for it there.

You've got to figure out what you've done wrong in assigning IP#s (there are a few threads on the subject in these forums) and get the dropdown box to work.
