ProFTP and da_vmpop3d

Hi,

After recently trying to re-install DirectAdmin after deleting a few files, I ran in some problems. One of them is that proftpd nor vmpop3d install properly. I've looked around ofr a DA log of the installationg to see what could be wrong but I can't find anything on the subject. I removed the user ftp from my /etc/passwd file thinking it would be re-added when I install DA, guess I was wrong. Please help!

You could try removing the applications and then reinstalling with the scripts in /usr/local/directadmin/scripts

Thanks for the suggestion.. In case anyone ever has the same problem, I did rpm -i --replacepkgs pkg.rpm. Seems that without the --replacepkgs it just would't work.
