ProFTPd with SFTP, custombuild overwrites conf after update proftpd with custombuild gui

Was working before!
This installation setup.

For a safety I'd copy /etc/proftpd.conf /etc/proftpd.sftp.conf to custom/proftpd/ as well. Did you miss this step?

Then not working anymore after update can't connect to port 23 , csf port 23 is open alowed.

The update ( downgrade to 1.3.6b) changes more then one thing also the tls and cypher settings again. where i did put in custom not using tls v1 and tls v1.1 anwymore!

This is also gone not at this box port 21 but that is also ..

therefore a Include

/etc/proftpd.vhosts.conf

at the end.

So the custom conf file in directadmin seems to be overruled?!?

Sorry don't know where to look now telnet localhost 23 is connection refused?

i did ./build proftpd again no solution.

Maybe read here to about howto custom conf files location.

ProFTPd + NAT

When you use NAT with ProFTPD you need to add MasqueradeAddress to the proftpd.conf file. Is it possible to add this to the proftpd.conf file that custombuild makes? I think you can check the directadmin.conf lan_ip and ethernet_dev value if there is NAT used. Here (at the bottom) you can find...

If original configs for ProFTPd are located under /usr/local/directadmin/custombuild/configure/proftpd/conf/ then customized files should be placed under /usr/local/directadmin/custombuild/custom/proftpd/conf/.
