Protecting Directories

Hello All,

I have a script that I use to create accounts that allow logins once paid. (aMember) Everything was working fine but now all of a sudden it doesn't work the way it used to.

If I go to the protected directory straight it works with a popup auth. If I go through the web page it doesn't work.

The usual way it works is to login through a webpage and then click submit which in turn redirects the browser to the protected folder like so...

http://user:[email protected]/protected/

If I go to http://www.orangenation.net/protected/ and enter the password it works fine.

Now I am not sure if it is something with DA or something else I set wrong. Could anyone shed some light?

Microsoft released a patch to block this; seems like it was a security issue.

WOW!!! What do I have to do to get around this? Just make them use the real auth popup instead of the webform?
