This is probably such an elementary question, but, I need help in pulling down my current web design. I am currently having my website redesigned and would like to pull down the files that are currently posted since they're not what I want the public viewing...

Another designer posted the files orginally, and I don't really know much about web design, so any help or guidance in how to do this would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

Log into your DirectAdmin control panel and click on Files; then you can browse the directory structure of your site, and download all the files. Most should be in the public_html directory structure, but if your designer used a commercial or open source content delivery package or a database-driven site then you might not be able to ever work on the site, or you may need a professional deisgner who used the same package or method.

You can get a copy of your site by using the DirectAdmin backup utility, and downloading it to your desktop, and then using any unzip utility to open the resulting file(s).
