Pure-ftpd startup script problem

I have the impression that custombuild 2.0 builds pure-ftpd without startup script.

Logs are not saved into /var/log/pureftpd.log but into system log (auth, messages, debug).
The path to the .pem file is also different. In the /var/log/debug I see this error

pure-ftpd (? @?) [DEBUG] Could not load the DH parameters file /etc/ssl/private/pure-ftpd-dhparams.pem

I tried to manually run the pure-ftpd with the options specified in the post https://forum.directadmin.com/showthread.php?t=42167 but it did not work.
Any suggestions?

I did changes in /etc/rsyslog.conf using this thread https://forum.directadmin.com/showthread.php?t=48258

After few restarts of pure-ftpd service and ./build pureftpd commands it finaly works.

Logs are in correct file and ftps works with certificates in /etc/ directory.
