Qestion: How do I change a username ?

Well in reseller, I went in List Users > Clicked the name of user but I can't seem to find a way to change the username... I'm very new to Direct Admin...

If I recall correctly, the username cannot be changed.

You can create an additional username, backup everything (using reseller level backup), and restore it to another user.

Or check JTBox to see if it does what you want.

hmm well thanks for clearing that up... the real problem was I was upload a SQL back up and it said i wasnt the owner of the database or something what i remeber the old username was dlad and now its dladvance could this be the problem.. ? + the back up was created from cpanel (.gz format)

I suggest unpacking the tarball, and manually editing the MySQL dump file if necessary to change what you need to change.

I can't take the time to teach that from scratch on these forums, but you can probably google for the information you need, or perhaps someone else will help you.
